The problem:
An electrical contractor was commencing work on a site where the main contractor was insistent that all operatives should have asbestos awareness training.
The solution:
We organised a course shortly after the initial enquiry and ensured that all operatives were adequately asbestos aware through the course.
The problem:
A Facilities Management Company required their operatives to undertake small amounts of work on non-licensed asbestos containing materials.
The solution:
Prior to course delivery, we consulted with the company to understand what types of asbestos they would most commonly be working upon. Once this was identified, the course was designed to bias towards these materials during the practical element of the course and gave the operatives more confidence after their training.
The problem:
An asbestos surveying company required a decontamination unit on site to undertake an asbestos survey. None of the surveyors had experience of using this equipment.
The solution:
The decontamination unit was delivered to site and the surveyors were trained on the correct procedure to set up / shut down the unit and also the correct decontamination procedures.
