Our client needed a reliable and efficient asbestos removal and repair service throughout their housing stock, as part of their responsive and void works.
The solution:
We listened to the needs of the housing association and the importance of delivering our service in line with their needs, taking in to consideration factors such as response times, tenant liaison etc. This was over 6 years ago and we have used this model as a template for servicing other housing association contracts.
The problem:
As part of a major refurbishment, asbestos floor tiles had been removed from two floors of an office block. Access was restricted due to surrounding pedestrian zones and a risk to members of the public within the building and externally during the waste transit procedure.
The solution:
The collections were undertaken in phases in order to avoid a build up of waste and undertaken out of hours on a wait and load basis.
The problem:
British Gas was carrying out works on the property and noticed a suspect material in the loft space, as they were asbestos aware they advised the homeowner that they were unable to carry on with the works until the material had been removed.
The solution:
We advised the homeowner to have the material tested prior to removal; we visited the property that same afternoon to take the sample the results showed that it was asbestos lagging. We carried out the removal and disposal swiftly to enable British Gas to carry out their works.
We are an Environment Agency certified waste carrier and all waste is accompanied with a Consignment Note as per current regulations. Once the job is complete, we will issue you with the completed consignment note for your records, giving you the peace of mind that all materials have been disposed of correctly.
