The problem:
A retail unit was being refurbished prior to occupancy by another tenant however the works had to be undertaken to a tight deadline and asbestos had been identified to a number of different areas. This meant that the asbestos removal project needed to be run whilst other contractors on site.
The solution:
Planning was key to the project to ensure the safety of all third parties. The asbestos removal works were phased and staggered to clear areas prior to the refurbishment works, this meant that the asbestos removal works were undertaken 24/7.
The problem:
We received a call from a house owner where their asbestos garage roof and guttering had been removed from a home improvement company. They had explained to the owner that he needed to dispose of the asbestos himself. He rang the council but they could not help him.
The solution:
Once he had contacted us, we collected the asbestos materials and disposed of them correctly the next day.
We are an Environment Agency certified waste carrier and all waste is accompanied with a Consignment Note as per current regulations. Once the job is complete, we will issue you with the completed consignment note for your records, giving you the peace of mind that all materials have been disposed of correctly.
