If you are looking for a more in depth asbestos management, pre-refurbishment or demolition survey, please do not hesitate to contact us as we can help you obtain highly competitive quotes in order for you to comply with current regulations.

Asbestos Management Survey

This is the cornerstone to your asbestos management plan. Its purpose is to locate, as far as reasonably practicable, the presence and extent of any suspect ACM's within a building which could be damaged or disturbed during normal occupancy, including foreseeable maintenance and installation, and to assess their condition.

Pre-refurbishment / Demolition Survey

This type of survey aims to find the asbestos behind surfaces which will be affected anyway during repairs, maintenance, alterations or demolition. Typically, the survey criteria involves intrusive, investigative and destructive means. The premise behind this type of survey is that the structure is either being demolished or is being significantly refurbished.

Air Testing

Request A Quotation

We can help you with any air testing requirements that you may have by providing you with highly competitive quotes from our accredited UKAS accredited analytical partners.

The release of asbestos fibres in the air can be a major concern, whether it is by accident or carelessness. Few workplace events are as alarming. Fortunately, we are well positioned to be able to provide emergency response air testing with on-site analysis. This means minds can be quickly eased or prompt action to close down problems at the earliest opportunity.

Air monitoring is also used during our asbestos removal work to detect leaks from working enclosures and to reassure people living or working nearby that no risks are arising from working practices in operation.

After asbestos has been removed, repaired or environmentally cleaned, we recommend air monitoring in some cases, and it is mandatory in others.

We can therefore offer airborne fibre sampling in conjunction with our removal projects in the following areas:

  • Four-stage clearance monitoring
  • Reassurance monitoring and inspection
  • Background monitoring
  • Personal exposure monitoring
  • Leak (enclosure integrity check) monitoring

Suspect Material around the Boiler at a Domestic House in Bakewell

The problem:

The boiler was due to be serviced however a suspect material was identified in a poor condition directly adjacent to the boiler. The boiler could not be worked upon until the service team knew whether asbestos was present.

The solution:

We promptly visited site and a sample was taken for asbestos analysis. The sample proved to contain asbestos, repair work was swiftly undertaken the next day and the boiler was serviced.

Pre-Demolition Asbestos Survey to Factory in Derby

The problem:

The survey needed to be undertaken in a short space of time in order to demolish the building shortly after. The surveying company needed extra resource to ensure that the timescales were met.

The solution:

Our experienced operatives were present to undertake intrusive works, erect mini-enclosures, repair the damaged areas and clean the area, leaving the surveyors to continue with their task in hand.
