The problem:
Following the recommendations from an asbestos management survey, we were asked to attend site through a recommendation of a previous client. Several areas had been highlighted where asbestos removal, remediation and repair was required.
The solution:
Through consultation with the client, it was imperative that normal operation of the site were not disrupted during the course of the asbestos removal works, which required the removal of a significant amount of asbestos cement. The works were completed on time and within budget with the operations of the site remaining unhindered through the whole process.
The problem:
A UPVC window and conservatory company had a number of asbestos containing material items that were being stored at their premises. The materials had been removed by themselves however were told following a health and safety audit that they could not store the materials loosely within the yard.
The solution:
The client took photographs of the asbestos containing materials and items to be removed and a quote was given by return email. We collected the asbestos materials the next day by correctly packaging them and disposing of them. All of the company’s operatives also attended an asbestos awareness and non licensed removal course in which we trained them to safely remove certain types of asbestos. We also installed a simple facility in order for them to store the asbestos materials safely in the future and we also collect their waste on a regular basis.
We are an Environment Agency certified waste carrier and all waste is accompanied with a Consignment Note as per current regulations. Once the job is complete, we will issue you with the completed consignment note for your records, giving you the peace of mind that all materials have been disposed of correctly.
